After waiting four years, we were excited to return to Washington D.C. for our 8th grade class trip! The "BC to DC" adventure was an action-packed 3-day tour. Stops included Ford's Theatre, the Holocaust Museum, many famous memorials, The Capitol building, Arlington Cemetery, the Museum of the Bible, the National Archives, and much more! Noah Powers, Mia Bustamante, and Summer Simpson honorably placed a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, on behalf of Boca Raton Christian School. Our students reflected on the historical influence of our nation's founders, identified the stamp of scripture throughout the city, and prayed in small groups for our nation on the steps of the US Supreme Court. We thank God for this wonderful experience and look forward to enjoying many more trips in the future.
