High School only

On Thursday, February 15th, the National Honor Society is sponsoring an International Day for the high school to celebrate cultural diversity both at BRCS and around the world. We will have a special chapel with speakers from other countries. Students are allowed to wear jeans or uniform shorts with a T-shirt from the USA or another country. If they have an authentic costume from another country, they are encouraged to wear it and be entered into a costume contest.

Additionally, students are encouraged to bring food from another country to share with the rest of the high school. Each student who brings food will earn two hours of community service. The guidelines for the food are as follows:

  • Bring enough for about 12 people

  • Food should be fully cooked; we have warmers and a fridge

  • Bring food in disposable containers with disposable serving utensils

  • Label the NAME of food and any ingredients that may cause allergic reactions

The food may be dropped off before school in the main dining room preferably before Period 1.
There will be NO food service from Daidone that day, so any student not wishing to participate must bring his or her lunch.
